Hello lovelies! The end of the semester is almost here, which means you need to start thinking about finishing up all of your final assignments and studying for your exams. This is arguably the most stressful time of the year, so here are a few tips on how to handle the end of the semester and ace your finals!
Make a schedule
Plan out your time! Figure out what you need to get done and write it down so you know what you need to accomplish.
Even though you’re incredibly busy and stressed out, you need to remember to take the time to eat throughout the day and stay healthy.
Don’t study 24/7! A solid eight hours of sleep at night will keep you focused and ensure your brain is powered to handle all the knowledge you are trying to remember 🙂
For every hour you study, make sure to take a short break to stretch and relax. If you feel overwhelmed by your studies, take a short break and come back with a refreshed mind.
Complete the most important things first. Do your assignments in order by due date. Study in order of the difficulty of your exams, spending more time studying the classes you are struggling with the most.
Consider getting a group of students from your class together to study. Having other people around to help explain confusing concepts or review the material can be super helpful – or super distracting. Know what study behavior works best for you.
Balance your social life
Cut back on your social activities. This is the time to focus on your academics and work, and ignore the distractions that may have kept you away from studying earlier in the semester. Although having some fun and relaxing time is still necessary during finals week, it should definitely not be one of your priorities.
Don’t get lost in clutter! Stay organized, stay on task and work hard.
Throughout the stress and chaos, remain positive. You can accomplish so much more than you think! 🙂
